Our Dream

We want to reach all of Mexico and beyond through football ministry, whether it be with programs run by us, or by training churches to run football outreach programs in their communities. We believe that by training, resourcing and mobilizing the sports ministers of local churches we can reach our dream. Our dream is also to expand outside of our boarders by becoming a training hub for all of Latin America.

Our Need

The ministry opportunities are growing but we lack staff in order to fulfill the demand, we need people! We need funding to bring in part time workers in order to help organize and run our programs and our year long Internship Program. Most of these people that are interested are restricted by the lack of funds; so having scholarships available for potential interns would really help to fulfill our dream.

Our Inspiration

Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

   

Our Ministry Overview

Ambassadors Football Mexico began at the beginning of 2014 and our main objective is to share the Gospel so that it can impact and transform individuals and communities through football ministry. We are committed to promoting faith through sport, but we also promote good health, social inclusion, and education excellence and all of our programs and activities are dedicated and designed around these priorities. In these four years since established the ministry we currently run 4 ministry programs:

  1. Football Club (80 kids, ages 4 through 17)
  2. PE class (60 kids, ages 6 through 16)
  3. Two Community Clinics (60 kids, ages 6 thought 15)
  4. RETAS – kick-abouts (30 adults, ages 15 through 40).

We also run projects throughout the year such as:

  • Summer camps, Academy Camp, and Elite ID Camp
  • Christmas 7-a-side Tournament where each player from each team needs to bring a new toy to donate to one of our community programs
  • Tours; we receive a team once a year for a playing tour that helps with the on-going programs that we run and we also take a tour whether it be a playing or coaching tour one a year internationally or nationally,
  • Breakfast in February we host a breakfast to thank God for the previous year and to share the vision for the upcoming year with our supporters and sponsors.
